Homestay.pro Contact Information Release Authorization

1. Purpose

This Authorization explains when Homestay.pro may release your direct contact information to a Chinese host family.

This Authorization is separate from the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Public Profile Authorization.

2. No Automatic Release

Your phone number, email address, WhatsApp, social media account, or other direct contact information is not released automatically when a profile is viewed or a match is selected.

Contact information release is a separate, controlled step after matching conditions are satisfied. Authorized platform staff release it offline and retain an audit record of the recipient, scope, purpose, authorization, and release time.

3. Release Conditions

Unless disclosure is required by law or necessary for emergency handling, the platform may release your direct contact information only when all of the following conditions are satisfied:

• you have submitted an application;
• the platform has reviewed your application;
• a screened Chinese host family has expressed a matching intention;
• the platform has determined that the match may proceed;
• you have been informed of the intended recipient and purpose;
• you separately authorize the contact release;
• the release is necessary for cultural homestay coordination, arrival preparation, or confirmed communication.

4. Information That May Be Released

Depending on the specific match and your authorization, released information may include:

• phone number;
• email address;
• WhatsApp or similar messaging account;
• social media account voluntarily provided for communication;
• other communication details specifically confirmed by you.

The platform should release only the minimum information necessary for the confirmed purpose.

5. Recipient

The recipient will be the relevant screened Chinese host family and authorized platform staff. The host family may use your contact information only for cultural homestay coordination related to the specific match.

6. Prohibited Recipient Conduct

Host families are prohibited from:

• using your contact information for dating, marriage matching, harassment, advertising, recruitment, or unrelated commercial purposes;
• forwarding your contact information to third parties without authorization;
• publishing your contact information online;
• contacting you after you withdraw consent or request communication to stop, unless legally necessary;
• pressuring you to provide additional private information.

7. Withdrawal

You may withdraw this Authorization for future contact release. Withdrawal does not erase contact information already lawfully released, but the platform may notify the host family that further use should stop unless necessary for safety, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Emergency and Legal Exceptions

The platform may disclose necessary contact information without separate authorization where reasonably necessary to protect life, health, property, or legal rights, or where disclosure is required by law, court order, regulatory authority, public security authority, or other competent authority.

9. Risks

Once contact information is released, the platform cannot fully control how the recipient stores or uses it. The platform will impose rules and may take action against misuse, but you should understand the inherent risk of direct contact release.

10. Confirmation

By confirming this Authorization, you acknowledge that you understand the purpose, recipient, information scope, risks, and withdrawal method of contact information release.
